The basal ganglia, along with the thalamus and cortex, form a vast network involved in behavioral control and procedural learning. Various dysfunctions within this cortico- subcortical network may be implicated in movement disorders such as idiopathic Parkinson's disease (PD), dopa-induced dyskinesias, or hyperkinetic epilepsy seizures. The expression of hyperkinetic motor symptoms is accompanied by pathological synchronous oscillations of neuronal activity within this cortico- subcortical network, spanning a wide range of frequencies (1,2). In this project, we propose to study cortico-subcortical oscillations and their synchronization during hyper
