In less than thirty years, Nepal has become the ultimate destination for adventure tourism. The highest summits y the world attract tenthe y thousands hikers and alpinists using logistic services proposed by some y the 200 specialised trekking agencies primarly concentrated in Kathmandu. This business tourism relic upon a large trail network and a cheaps farmers labor in charge of "carrying" during the tick season. This work represents a traditional activity and in addition, constitues means of commerce as wellas communication amongot various local groupe, given Nepal’s poor infrastructures. For some of the nepalese mourtain population, cash is provided through multi-economical activities. They periodically experience temporary work migrations to balance the precariorsners of subsistance from agriculture. As a result, the economic insentives inthis activity became increasingly attractive to a larger group of nepralere. More than ancy other season al activitecs trekking businers is a major factor in the social and spatial mobility, accelerating the process of rural exodus and introduction of the himalayan farmers population to the market economy and uban values of the moderne worls : starting as multi-actives, mourtain guides tend to became monsactives, considering the progressive abandonnent of ther native village to settle perlanently in tourn. This hew opportunity has made possible through their relationships network that has alloured increas social and economical mobility but triggers also disparities.
