L'étude des rapports entre poésie et philosophie, deux lieux ou l'homme vit la tension entre finitude et créativité, est un choix herméneutique pour une interrogation sur les enjeux de la pensée humaine. Romantisme et critique désignent deux tendances marquant notre modernité. La tension entre finitude humaine et créativité ne mène à des orientations humainement possibilisatrices que si elle échappe autant à l'obsession romantique de l'origine et de la nostalgie du passé qu'à celle critique de la finalité et d'une volonté incontrôlée de progrès. Nous préfigurons une herméneutique de la réserve et de l'initiative pratiquant la philosophie et son histoire au sein de l'expérience humaine. Il s'agit d'un scepticisme en action qui vise l'unité de l'action humaine engagée dans le multiple, en tentant de réaliser et de toujours actualiser une fermeté de la raison qui ne soit pThe study of the relationship between poetry and philosophy - two scenes where the human being lives the tension between finitude and creativity - is un hermeneutic choice for a questioning concerning human thought. Romanticism and criticis m are considered as two main tendancies in our modernity. The tension between human finitude and creativity cannot lead to orientations carrying human possibilities unless it escapes from the romantic obsession of origin and the nostalgy of the past, and from the critical one of finality and incontrolled will of progress. We prefigure an hermeneutic method of the reserve and initiative, practicing philosophy and its history in the field of human experience. It is a scepticism in action looking forward to the unity of human action engaged in the multiple, attempting to realize and always actual ize a firmnesse of reason which is not a rationalist assurance. Critical doubt is the theoretical exercise assisting a poetics of measure on the practical plan.
