Résumé

Le monde paysan est actuellement au centre des débats politiques et économiques qui animent les discussions des spécialistes en matière agricole. Surproduction, difficulté de commercialisation d'un côté, pénurie, famine et désertion des campagnes de l'autre, constituent le paradoxe de l'époque actuelle. A travers cette analyse qui cherche à suivre l'évolution socio-économique du fellah marocain dans la région des Beni M'tir, l'auteur a essayé de cerner dans quel sens évolue l'agriculture marocaine. Dépendance alimentaire, politique et économique, expansion des cités urbaines au détriment des campagnes qui se vident, constituent la trame cachée de la société marocaine actuelle. En conséquence de quoi de graves répercussions tant économiques que politiques peuvent affecter l'ordre établi si une nouvelle orientation en matière agricole, notamment envers les paysans dépourvus de terre, ne connait pas le jour rapidement

Résumé

At the present time, the peasant world is at the centre of the political and economic debates held by the specialists in agricultural problems. On the one hand overproduction and marketing difficulties, on the other hand shortage, famine and desertion of the country, make up the contemporary paradoxical situation. Through this analysis, which seeks to follow the Moroccan fellah's socioeconomic evolution in the region of the Beni M'tir, the author tries to define how the Moroccan agriculture evolved. Food shortage, political and economic dependence, the development of towns to the detriment of the country, constitute the framework of the Moroccan society nowadays. Therefore, serious repercussions (both economic and political) may affect the established order unless a solution to the agricultural problem is rapidly found, in particular to the problem of peasants destitute of land
